THIS CUSTOM SUPERCHARGED 2025 GMC SIERRA IS NO ORDINARY PICKUP TRUCK

The most powerful GMC Sierra 1500 from the factory today packs a 6.2-liter V8 that makes 420 hp. That isn't what we would call a slow pickup truck. But the folks at Specialty Vehicle Engineer felt there was room for improvement... a lot of improvement.

Specialty Vehicle Engineering has built the 2025 Sport Edition Supercharged Sierra that is available with more than twice the factory power output, close to four-figure horsepower ratings. Interestingly, it is available straight from your GMC dealer, and covered under warranty.

Choose Between 700, 800 And 1,000 HP For Your 2025 Sierra

2025 Sport Edition Supercharged Sierra Engine Options:

  • 5.3-Liter Supercharged V8 - 700 HP
  • 6.2-Liter Supercharged V8 - 800 HP
  • 6.8-Liter Supercharged V8 - 1,000 HP

In its factory setting, the GMC Seirra uses the 6.2-liter EcoTec3 V8 engine to make a commendable 420 hp. But the 2025 Sport Edition Supercharged Sierra from Specialty Vehicle Engineering offers three choices that range up to 1,000 hp!

The base engine option for the Sport Edition Supercharged Sierra uses GMC's smaller, under-powered 5.3-Liter EcoTec3 V8 which makes 700 hp, thanks to a new supercharger. The middle-range model uses the 6.2-liter V8 from the standard model and adds the supercharger to make 800 hp. The flagship option bores the V8 engine out to 6.8-liters, again slapping on a supercharger to make a whopping 1,000 hp! The supercharger uses a separate serpentine belt which increases belt surface area by 33% to eliminate slip. SVE's unique Boost-by-Wire tech helps eliminate lag and offers instant power on demand from the throttle input.

In addition to the high-output supercharger assembly, the engines have been upgraded with race-quality computer-balanced rotating assembly, forged aluminum pistons and upgraded cylinder heads. To handle the performance, the 5.3L and 6.2L engines are equipped with a 1538MV twisted steel crankshaft, while the larger 6.8L model uses a 4340 steel crankshaft. But if the factory spec of the model features the dual exhaust system, an optional custom stainless steel exhaust system is also included as a part of the upgrade. SVE also offers the option to calibrate the engine to run on 91 or 93 octane.
